A father-and-son shop that islanders trust.
Christian’s Auto Repair is run by Christian and his son Tom. Neighbors recommend them to each other, visitors find them when a rental gets a flat, and a lot of island families won’t take their cars anywhere else.
The approach is simple: explain the problem, do the work right and charge a fair price. If nothing’s wrong, they’ll tell you that too.
Tip: the schedule fills up, especially in season, so call ahead to book a time.

Christian and his son Tom are wonderful people! They truly care about fixing what’s wrong and don’t try to charge for anything unnecessary. I’m so grateful to have found an honest, reliable mechanic shop.
We brought our 2015 Mercedes ML400 in to repair the air conditioning as the car was not blowing cold air. The techs were quick and the charge was VERY reasonable.
Drove up needing a flat repair. Christian wasted no time fixing it, giving some recommendations on tires and sending me on my way. Honest, experienced, trustworthy and he cares!
Our rental car had a nail in the tire. Christian was able to fit me into his busy schedule and repair the tire while I waited. We were able to enjoy the rest of our trip with no more issues.
When my battery went dead he worked my car into his jammed schedule to make sure it was fixed the next day.
